A Small family Pilgrimage!!!

Recently, I got a chance to visit the famous temples one in Karnataka and one in Kerala. First, I wish to write about the visit to one of the famous shrine of Lord Subramanya which is situated in the famous hilly area of Kukke, area in Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka. There was no rush in the temple as we reached early in the morning by 6.50 am and we were happy since every thing occurred and happened as we planned earlier. It was happy moment and I was accompanied by my parents, brother and my mother in law. Hubby didn't get a chance to come along with us since he was having an exam duty in his engineering college.  Here are the few shots taken in the premises of the temple...

Secondly, we visited another famous temple of Devi ma in Kasaragod, northern most district in kerala state. My family and my hubby and my mother in law also joined with me. We had lunch from the temple after good darshan. There was rain in the area as all the surroundings of the temple was flooded with rain water and hence we parked our vehicle near to the entrance to make an easy go!!! It was an awesome journey with my beloved ones. Here I upload few snapshots taken in the premises of the temple.

Feeling blessed @ Birla mandir, hyderabad!

Hi friends,
I have been to birla mandir many times before but this time it was simply superb since i was accompanied by my parents, brother and my lovely hubby. Hence the moment was too awesome for me and there was no rush in the temple. It was serene, quiet, natural and fantastic environment to be there in Mandir along with our beloved ones. I upload some pictures that was taken from there to hold our memories together forever!!!

Midnight dinner @ suprabhat - hyderabad

Friends, recently we had a good dinner at the Suprabhat hotel - Habsiguda, Hyderabad. The food was good and their ambiance and hospitality was extra ordinary. It was worth spending some grand at the hotel. Myself and my parents, brother and my hubby enjoyed a lot being there and had couple of items and made stomach tight! :p Here are my few pictures to share with you all...

Namo Namah!!! Clean sweep out for NDA in 2014!!!

The election results (mandate 2014) were declared on 16 May, fifteen days before the 15th Lok Sabha completes its constitutional mandate on 31 May 2014. The counting exercise was held at 989 counting centres. The National Democratic Alliance, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, won a sweeping victory, taking 336 seats.The BJP itself won 31.0% of all votes and 282 (51.9%) of all seats. It is the first time since the 1984 Indian general elections that a party has won enough seats to govern without the support of other parties.The United Progressive Alliance, led by the Indian National Congress, won 58 seats, 44 (8.1%) of which were won by the Congress, that won 19.3% of all votes. It was the Congress party's worst defeat in a general election. BJP and its allies won the right to form the largest majority government since the 1984 general election. 

Now, hoping to see New Prime minister of India - Narendra Modi to do a nation building task like as he did in Gujarat. All the best Indians!!!

Mangoes, Mangoes, Mangoes!!!

Where ever you go, mangoes follow you!!! Its mangoes season and here in South Canara, there seems to be a festival of large number of mangoes. Last year there were no mango which we can find or spot in any one of mango trees, but this time it is some thing different. There are lots of it this time, seeming like there is no end to eating mangoes this season this year!!! :) Yummie, love mangoes...

Exit poll results!

The ninth and final phase of election voting is finished by 5 pm today. The last phase voters include from three states namely - Varanasi (utter Pradesh),west Bengal and Bihar! It was around 64% - voters turned out, listed out in the three states by the end of the day! By around 6.30 pm the exit poll was started and all the news channel were started to raise and give unanimous reports regarding the exit poll ( expected results on the E day based on analytical reports from previous years ) saying the BJP people will form the government this time in India with maximum of 300 + seats. The bjp might form alliances with some other prominent third parties to form maximum of 350 + seats as the great power NDA!!! Hoping to see the change in Indian government which was occupied by the Congress for last 10 years!!!

Summer rains!

Yahoooooo!!!! It is an happy thing to share with you all guys that today we had summer rains all over in Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka! It was a great relief for all of us (commoners). But i hope a bad thing for people who depend on agriculture for their daily living!
They usually expect rains after may 15 which is good for areca-nut trees which is the mostly cultivated crop in this area! Any which ways, a cool relief for every one who were feared of sun burns! Etc... Because the climate went so extreme that we were not knowing how to escape from this sunny weather. This rains will create a pleasure in every ones heart at least for two days. But one thing i know is that today i will sleep well, more comfortably with my ever time favorite blanket! :) cheers...
