came from Hyderabad in their car to attend my niece wedding. Later we went to

My baby’s first injection since
he is now one and half month old. We went to Dr Rajagopala Sharma our child
specialist. He gave him vaccination and oral polio. Baby had slight fever and
was not able to withstand the pain. He didn’t urinate that whole night due to
fear. The next day was better for my baby.

It is special day that we need to
shift the house so we went to another uncles house along with the baby. Else we
would have to see good time to go to my house later.

My small father in law and their
family along with mane ajji came to madhur to give invitation card of their
daughter Soumya, my niece which is in next month 11 and 12. Also they felt
happy seeing my baby.

My hubby’s uncle and aunty along
with their daughter came to madhur to see me and my baby. They gave my baby a
small green Tees and shorts. It was nice and I got blessings from them as well.
Later in the afternoon my hubby came for a day stay and also to play along with
the baby. He enjoyed being with our baby. I felt happy seeing them play
together…

I was along with my baby and my
mother for this year new year. It was good but there was a feeling of little
sad in my mind since my hubby is not there along with me otherwise I would have
celebrated the new year eve!

baby and for that event; my hubby came along with his parents and grandmother.

came to madhur to see me and my baby after attending his friend’s sister
marriage near Badiyadka.

Today we went to baby Dr and had
a blood test and confirmed nothing is there like Jaundice. Then vishwa uncle
came and picked us and reached madhur in the night. We stayed there for almost
2 months and then went to Hyderabad.

I got discharge from the hospital
and moved to Gopi uncles house for a day stay since there was a blood test the
next day for my baby. My hubby dropped us and he went back home.

I had my breakfast which my
mother bought me from the hotel. Later I went to labor room since this was my
first one so thought not to take risk. I was given induction since 10 ‘o’ clock
in the morning and by around 1 pm my cervix started opening and by around
2.17pm I delivered to a baby boy who was weighing 3.3kgs. it was a proud moment
and there was small difficulty in pushing the baby so Dr used vacuum to pull
the baby out. But still it was a normal delivery. I am happy for that. I fed my
baby in the labor room for few minutes and my baby was feeling sleepy and
stopped feeding him. Later In the evening by 5 pm I was shifted to the room and
started feeding my baby again and by then many relatives came to see me and my
baby. My hubby, my mother and in laws were very happy seeing me and my baby
healthy. I thank God for a great day and such a good experience in a women’s
life.

I admitted to the hospital –
Mangalore nursing home by afternoon since today was the due date given to me by
the Dr. I got the room 202 and my mother accompanied me later in the evening.
My hubby and my mother in law went back to home telling they will come
tomorrow. But once they left, labor pain started and there was a bleeding and I
started feeling the real pain within no minutes.

False pains started and my hubby
and my mother in law was feared and he took leave in the afternoon and went to
Mangalore nursing home and checked up with the Dr. She said it- pain was just
starting and the head of the baby has descended. But still, the cervix didn’t
start to open. There is no feeling like opening it soon. So she asked me to
come only after there is severe pain. We left and went to Pabbas for having ice
cream.

Today is our first wedding
anniversary. Lots of happiness and lots of love on this day! Parents wished me
and we got blessings from them. Then in the evening we went to visit a house
which is giving for rent. But we didn’t like it and we just ignored it. Later
in the evening we got a treat from Usha aunty, wife of the owner of Hariprasad
Hotel since they came to know that I am pregnant and also today was our
anniversary so they gave us a free small dinner!
October 25 – November 6 2014
There was 12 day pooja at our
home Panjigadde. It was dedicated to Home Goddess Durga and Priest come home
daily and makes all the arrangements, decorations etc and my father in law with
the help of him performed all the rituals. The pooja starts at 6 in the evening
and finally winds up around 8 in the night with a small dinner.

My birthday - special day, I
always wished for. My hubby gave me a saree and chudidhar as a gift. My parents
and brother was there along with me on this day since there was aati-amavaasi
sammana for us. So they gave me earrings as a birthday gift and my brother gave
me a yellow salwar kameez as a Birthday gift. Then for sammana they gave my
hubby a lotus model gold chain and for me two gold bangles. For this function,
all my hubby’s family members came to madhur to make it a grand success.

Kodi/Seemanta was there for me
since my pregnancy turned 7 months old. Also there was my niece’s engagement on
the same day. For this function, my parents and my brother came all the way
from Hyderabad. In the evening, I went along with my parents to madhur since
there was a function the next day. My hubby will accompany me next day at
madhur.

Some people from kodandoor came
to see my neice Soumya. The groom was there alongside. Both of the family
members liked and fixed the marriage. On the same weekend, we all went to
kodandoor to see their family, house and we also liked them and the marriage
was almost fixed.

Mane ajji came to our home in
Puthur for a week stay and I was finding difficult in adjusting first later on
it was like that easy! At the end of the week, while returning back we went to
Survey mane near Puthur for lunch since they have invited us for the lunch
after the marriage. There was a small baby who was just 42 days old. It was
nice to see him and felt happy that I could also have the same feeling within
few months. I was eagerly waiting for my baby’s arrival. I was counting the
days and always looking in to calendar and praying to God to get a good healthy
baby through a normal delivery.

My mother in law’s birthday and
we all went to Polya temple since there were a function.
July 10th – July 13th 2014
I, my hubby, my father in law and
my mother in law went for a small tour to hill abode Ooty in our car. It was a great
and pleasant experience since it was our first journey all of us together. We
stayed in JayaShanti hotel in Hill bunk road opposite to Woodside School Ooty.
It was so chill that my in laws was like come enough, let’s go back home. It’s
so cold out here. We can’t resist. I was like Oh God, after hearing this. But
they adjusted to the cold weather of Ooty by wearing sweater. We went to
Kallugundi first and from there we went to Ooty after taking the breakfast. We
reached Ooty by mid noon and we had our lunch nearby our room. It was awesome
filled with groundnut oil. But the spiciness of the food was not known till we
reach back home. We visited the town side of the city on the day we arrived and
later on the next day we went in a city tour bus since they will take us to all
the places that we would like to see without any risk. It was good actually,
the people are nice and food outside was superb. I hate spicy food but after
landing here I just forgot what spicy really means… little spicy never hurts,
right?
Then we went on to enjoy the Toy
train and saw the sim’s park, Coonoor Tea estates, military base camps, Dolphin
nose point, suicide point and many other important places in and around the
city. The most part of the journey was when we both I and my hubby went in the
evening for a walk in the city. It was chill and a cold breeze was storming
from one side. We felt like we were in heaven! Such a nice time we had both
together… loved it.

I and my hubby returned in train
from Hyderabad. It was my hubby’s first train travel experience. He loved the
journey but he also hated the late timings of train since our train made other
trains pass by stopping for each minute. After this, my hubby said he will not
come again in train since it delays the journey, which he feels is a waste of
time. Reached home and slept till evening since we are very tired off the
journey.

My hubby came to Hyderabad and
enjoyed a small vacation almost a week. I also went along with my father to
pick him up from MGBS Hyderabad since he came in KSRTC Karnataka Govt. AIRAVAT
bus.
During this weekend, my hubby’s
cousin sister Shilpa with her hubby came to our house in Hyderabad since they
were in a tour for a week. We gave much hospitality and made good items for the
breakfast.

Madhur ajji ya thithi. We all
went the previous day itself and went to mallah temple and prayed for our well
being. Then many guests arrived for the function and once done with the lunch,
my hubby returned back home. I left behind with my parents and went to
ajjanamane and from there to Hyderabad.

I along with my parents, mother
in law and brother visited Subrahmanya Temple early in the morning in my
hubby’s car. Hubby didn’t come due to his college work. For the breakfast we
went to Moojoor Mane where Bala mava and Kala athe was there and there was Idli
for the bfast. Then we went to Betta for the lunch. It was superb day… In the
night we went to Rama ajja mane near our home at Kemmayi Puthur. There my hubby
also accompanied me and we all went to Trupti hotel for the grand dinner!

It was my 42nd day of
my no periods and we all went to Mangalore to test and confirm whether I am
pregnant or not. My Dr, asked me to perform an early pregnancy scanning and
went and done. It was turned positive and we were all happy and confirmed. It
was my best day in my life feeling of mother to be! Great, right?

After the morning breakfast, we
all went to Kala aunty house for the lunch since from there we went to
ajjanamane since there was Rama bajane which starts at 6 in the evening and
ends up at 6 in the morning the next day. Abbe was happy seeing me and knowing
that I am pregnant, felt very very happy and gave me tender coconut water since
my stomach was not feeling well. Later after the function, we went back home
and while returning home I vomited since the road was not that good full of
curves and turns… oh God, it was not that easy travelling.

Myself, my hubby and my father in
law went to Narampady temple near Badiyadka kasargod. There was a belief that I
will give saree to goddess after my marriage along with my hubby. So to
complete it, we went and had lunch in the temple itself and it was my husband’s
birthday. I felt very happy since on a beautiful day I got a chance to visit
temple. In the evening we went to Madhur and rested for some time and went to
Madhur Siddivinayaka temple and got blessings from Lord Ganapati. After that,
we returned to Puthur and we both were very tired.

I, my hubby and my father in law
went to Puthur Jaatre. It was the first time for me and I was more curious to
see what are all there in this event and it was superb with more than thousand
people gathering together at one single place. I purchased one cute little baby
girl doll in blue color. Its nice and good to play with it since I was
pregnant.

Since March 17 my mother in law
remained in the hospital and today she is going to be discharged. We both went
to pick her up and bring to Puthur for a long stay since she needs some rest at
the time so she will be in fast recovery.

Today,
my little brother Shreyas had his Upanayana function and we all were there to
support this function. After the function, I and my hubby returned in car and
while driving back to Puthur, we just went to Manjalagiri to visit Idiyadka
ajji since it was her husband’s one year death anniversary. After having
coffee, we left and reached home around 6 in the evening.

Today was the operation for my
mother in law. She is alright and I, my parents all went to see her in the
evening to the hospital. She talked with us and we left since it was already late
in the evening and moreover we were to board a bus to kasaragod.

My mother in law was admitted to
the hospital for an operation to remove the uterus at Mangalore Nursing Home.
Also, Shreyas naandi was there at madhur and after attending it, we all went to
ajjanamane for a day stay.

This is the first day of my last
periods before pregnancy so it’s much remembered. I was struggling with stomach pain which was due to eating of lots of sweets at that time and I was accompanied my mother since she was there along with me to attend a function in the coming week, So she cooked food for me and my hubby.

It was Ashraya Upanayana
function, we all reached the venue a day
before the function. It was grand and all his school mates, teachers came to
the event. In the evening we both my hubby and myself returned back home. My
mother in law stayed back for two more days since there was nobody to help
Jyothi chikkamma after the function.

There was a Naandi function for
Ashraya at Kallugundi Mane and we all went along with my in laws. My hubby
didn’t come due to college work. I left him for one night and was along with my
mother in law. I felt very bad since it was the first time I left him alone
since marriage.

mother-in-law visited Kallugundi Mane for a two day stay after the marriage. We
went near madikeri ghat and came back since it was just a long drive that we
drove.

My cousin Sharanya came along
with Kishore in the evening to my house in bike. We were all shocked for a
moment thinking why she came. But later was understood that she met with an
accident and came along with Kishore who gave some first aid during the
accident in the roadside. Also she was late to the college hostel and she came
here to stay for the night and she was having a ached leg which was bulged
since it was twisted while falling on the ground. It was unexpected and there
after she was spreading the news that I made everyone know that she was in love
with someone who was working in a car company as a sales representative. I also
stopped talking to her thereafter.
December 18 2013 – January 3 2014
We went to Hyderabad in bus and
enjoyed being there and it was like a honeymoon for both of us. We went on
visiting places which was new to both of us. We were happy in visiting Ramoji
film city since it was the world’s biggest film studio complex. It was a serene
place for all garden lovers…
The new year was celebrated with
my parents along with my hubby and went to Birla Mandir, a temple which was
fully and completely built using a single marble. I also enjoyed the newyear
eve with my parents and brother along with my hubby.

We
shifted to our newly home in Kemmayi, Puthur near to VCET where my hubby was
working as a assistant professor for Mech Dept. My mom was also accompanied me
and she stayed with me for a week and she returned to Hyderabad. I felt very
sad since she was going all alone after my marriage and she was very sad
thinking that she has to leave me and go back to Hyderabad. Love you amma! I
too felt the same….

There was a JODU BIDU sammana at
my ajjanamane and my mom was also there waiting for me to arrive. We all went
from here Panjigadde in a jeep rather than going in a car since there were many
people so in order to avoid congestion, we made a choice of jeep!

We returned to my hubbys house
very early since there was Dindu Havana at my home and it was a 3 hour program
and once done, everybody left me alone at my house along with my hubby. At the
beginning it was very bore here in hubbys house, later I get adjusted and now
it’s a happy moment and I like being lived here along with my hubby and his
parents… a joint family.

There was a sammana at my madhur
house and we all went there in a car going to narampaady temple to donate a
saree to goddess Durga. But due to temples renovation, it was been postponed
and we went to home in the evening and sammana was in the night and all my
aunties were there. It was fun and a pride to get married and come back to our
home as a married women rather than a innocent girl.

There was a reception at my
hubby’s house, Panjigadde. We all went there in a bus and we were accompanied
by our relatives. It was a big function similar to wedding. All our guests were
arrived and gave blessings to both of us. Also my hubby played me Patrabareyala
song on the background and at the evening our photographer told my hubby to
lift me so that he can take a snap and stick it in our wedding album!!! It was
very very funny…

Our D day- Dream wedding day is
just arrived and my would be came in a Silky silver Renault Duster wearing a
maroon gold sherwani and was looking really superb. I was all done with my
makeup and there was a photoshoot going on with my poses etc… Later at the
golden minute, my hubby then would be tied a knot around my neck and everybody was laughing and smiling and
taking clicks!!! I actually can hear it… It was like as if I was standing in a
podium and others were clapping on my achievements…
After the ceremony, we went to
house and get refreshed and got ready for night function as there was a chaturti
Havana at the same venue where my wedding was held. That was awesome and
everything was too fast. We both can’t wait to hold together tightly since we
were waiting from past 4 months!!! That day was unforgettable. It was really
fantastic.

We all went to Nataraja mandapam,
Parakilla Madhur where my wedding will take place tomorrow. There was a
Ganapati pooja at the venue so as we all went. I wished and prayed that
everything will be good and everybody will be happy on me getting married. Most
of my relatives came there before marriage day and had a dinner with us… Great
experience.

put mehandi on my both hands and legs. I was looking pretty actually before my
marriage ;) Also, on the same night I couldn't sleep properly since many ants came and were all eating my mehandi... so it was disturbing for me to get a good sleep :p

My would be and my mother in law
came to madhur temple and I and my mother went there and had a prayer and came
back with them in car. We had a nice time sitting and talking face to face each
other in a room after a long time and we both were waiting for our D day which
was just 7 days behind… In the afternoon we went to meet our Guru Shri
raghaveshwara barathi at badiyadka to meet and get the blessing from him to
make our marriage life even more fruitful and colorful.

I and my father went to
Coimbatore to attend my Convocation ceremony and it was a fabulous day since I
was declared a gold medalist by our university and I was a certified post
graduate! I was happy and feeling really great for my achievements. I collected
my Gold medal from a retired chief justice of Madras high court and I was
greatly honored by my fellows. I thanked my parents and my brother for
supporting me all the way from first year to fifth year and also thanked my
teachers, friends to encourage me throughout my academics. Last but not the
least I thanked my Almighty to help me to attain success and know more about my
subjects without any obstacles. For this event, my friend Nihi also attended
with me accompanied with her family and her cute son.

now, my hubby then would be. He left a voice message through whatsapp and it
was so special wish for me. He also gifted me a chudidar and a cotton crush
saree which I most liked.
September 24 – October 1 2013
My parents visited native to give
my wedding cards and clothes that we have purchased on the occasion of my
wedding to all of our relatives. They also went to would be’s house to invite
and give my special card to my would be which was specially printed for him. I
and my brother was alone in the home here in Hyderabad. I also quit the job
from [24]/7 where I was been working since October 2012 as Media advisor. My
job experience was too good and I love being worked…. Lets hope that I can
continue working even after marriage.

would be’s house and they all went out for marriage shopping. They went to
Nutan silks, Madantyar, BC Road for large scale purchase of wedding sarees and
suits for everyone.

It was the day to return back to
Hyderabad for all of us my parents, myself and my brother. But the train was in
the night and we planned to meet at Mangalore for a dining out before marriage
and I was accompanied by my parents. I got down at jyothi circle since he was
waiting there near the bus bay. We both walked for a mile and got a chair in a
pavement and sat there and talked for few minutes. Mean while my parents went
to uncles house near bejai Mangalore. After an hour or so, we all went to Taj
for the lunch. It was good not that bad food. Later went to uncles house and
rested for a minute and visited Kadri park along with my would be and parents.
We took lots of photographs and had a public kiss for the first time! Then
moved to city centre mall and would be bought me 2 chudidhars, a vanity bag and
a sonata watch. Moreover, the worth gift was a white rose which he gifted me at
the end of the day! I just loved it…

It’s our E Day- Engagement day.
It was at madhur and would be and family reached by 10 am and there was pooja
at our home and we exchanged ring sitting in front of God and I gave a shirt
and pant as a gift.
At the same time, our invitation
card was drafted by our elders, astrologists and priests. Also one of the life’s
most memorable was a first kiss! He gave me one on this beautiful day for the
first time… it was a must moment to cherish!

We came to native and went to
would be’s house for the lunch before marriage event and got a chance to get shiva pooja prasada also a cute fancy
dark green saree from him! The most interesting thing was that he gave me a 2rs
/- coin as OOTA DAKSHINA. I collected it since it will be the last time that I
can get such a thing from him. Because after marriage I will be his wife and it
will be my house so I cannot receive it instead I will have to give it! Even
now also, I have the same 2rs /- coin with me, I have treasured it as a sign of
crazy things! Later, he gave me a bunch of chocolates as a gift of love!!!

We, myself and my parents brother
and all my relatives went to would be’s house – Panjigadde, Vittal to give him
a confirmation that I was ready for the marriage with him! He was so cute as
usual with his cute little naughty eyes with a grey half sleeve shirt and a
white dhoti… Everybody of his relatives
took our photo and made it a promise relationship that lasts forever and
ever!!!
Also he was given me a Facebook
friendship request and later on the same day I accepted the request and chatting
was started in the night at railway station as we were boarding the train to
Hyderabad from kasaragod.

The most expected day of my life
since my hubby then would be came to see
me for the first time at madhur as a bride groom event! I was overwhelmed by joy after seeing him
since he was so cute and loving. He was accompanied by his relatives and
parents… We were allowed to talk personally for few minutes so we discussed
regarding our childhood and academics. He was very pleasing with his naughty
eyes… I was already fallen for him and felt like it was a love at first sight
for me even if this was an arranged marriage I was feeling like we know each
other from past few years …
